The Mantis is a small one man fighter known for its maneuverability and speed. The engine/wing combination is detachable to adapt the craft to various environments. After having bought four Bounty Hunter Pursuit sets I was looking for a way to use the 3x12x1 wedge slopes and when I had a design I liked I doubled it, and used the only lime Technic connection pieces I could find; from a small Bionicle Turaga set, and it grew from there. I made the engine/wing area using some basic SNOT so I could eventually convert this.
