Koensayr BTL-S3 Y-wing Starfighter

The Y-Wing Starfighter. It's about 658 pieces, a lot of it greeblies. I used the same scale on this as on my A-Wing, X-Wing and Snowspeeder (1 foot to 1 stud), making it just over 52.5x26 studs long and wide, respectively. I had to use the same engines as LEGO did, since they are the right diameter, although the way they attach is completely different. They are off-center to the arms that hold them, as they should be. This project started out about ten months before it's official release. I originally intended for the white on the head to be studded but as I got the right angles on the shape of the head and the yellow stripes it became less and less studded, making it almost necessary to have the entire thing smooth. And this is Jon "Dutch" Vander (Gold Leader)'s ship. The last picture is a variant Y-Wing: blue. I'll make others once pieces become available.
